All the best times I can remember was commissioned by American trumpeter Sam Jones, who was praised by the New York Time       for his "remarkable playing" and ability to create a " riveting dialogue " as a soloist. Written for trumpet solo, the music was           composed to explore different possibilities that trumpet may produce, and try to strike a balance between logics and musical         emotion in the piece.
